YHC posted to RnG for the first time a month ago and have been a regular ever since.  Closer quickly reached out to inquire as to my interest in Qing.  Sign me up!

The Run:

Clockwise around Ardmore:

• Exit Redeemer south on Miller, west on Cherokee, north on Bolton, east on Maplewood, north on Bellview, east on Westover, south on Miller to the house.

 The Gun:

 Tabata, 20 seconds on, 10 second off.

• Wilt Chamberlains (Alabama Prom Dates), Pickle Pounders, Freddie Mercs, Merkins, Dive Bombers, Diamond Merkins, Russian Deadlifts, Lunges, SSHs.
• Repeato in reverse until time is called.

Announcements:

• Zuck has the Redline Q tomorrow. He is accepting ideas which he will immediately disregard in favor of whatever he comes up with at 0520 tomorrow.

 CoT:

• Prayers for the Singing Cowboy’s family.
• YHC took us out.

Moleskin:

• YHC’s Tabata app was quickly identified as the “free” version. After the third fail, YHC took to verbally “exercise” and “rest” each cycle.  That was better than the amplifying MC.
• The Deuce DMed YHC last night asking, “What exactly is Run & Gun?” YHC’s brief explanation must have sufficed as he was out there.  Next question: “Do I need a light?”  O.G. vigorously affirmed the need for a light.  Nevertheless, The Deuce survived the dark streets of Ardmore.
• Great catching up with Total Recall along the way. TR commented that Ardmore was his Bermuda Triangle and that he had no idea where he was the whole time.
• Mutton got a quick briefing on the route and then took off, leaving the rest of us in the dark. Clearly not his Bermuda Triangle.
• YHC also took some hits for the off-balance demo of Russian Dead Lifts. Not my best effort there.
• Juice Box rolled in at 0529 ready to roll out.
• Mongoose was not pleased with Tabata exercises on the wet asphalt. He also was not impressed with the dry-ish rectangle left on the ground when YHC picked up my towel.
• Zuck suggested that he previously thought of YHC as a “nice guy” but did not appreciate the combinations and order of exercises. Might take that into account for “next time”.
• Buehler? was characteristically quiet and unassuming.
• Glazer RIROed two miles both ways and turned down a lift home. #Beast.
• BooBoo suggested that we “find” a different name for Alabama Prom Dates. #Earmuffs.  Someone must have already recognized that, hence “Wilt Chamberlains”.  Is that really any better?!

Thanks, Closer, for the keys.  We missed you, but YHC left them for you at the top of the Cherokee hill.  It’s a fun jaunt.
