Turnover asked for a sub last night, to which YHC gladly accepted. The only request? Don’t update the Q calendar or announce the change up. YHC wanted to ensure no one avoided seeing YHC today… a bit cruel yes, but it fit in line with our theme off celebrating Star Wars most cruel bad guy: Darth Vader! Yesterday was May the 4th Star Wars Day, and today is Revenge of the Fifth afterall…

- TClaps to Bullwinkle, Triple Lindy, and Double Wide for making it to Mayhem for the first time this year!
- TClaps again to Bullwinkle for putting out the call for an EC 5K!
- TClaps to Pony Express for the BIBO (Bike ride in/out)!
- The PAX arrived to a huge pile of Merlot in the parking lot that had been run over by a few vehicles… it was apparently not from any PAX present.
- Boomerang was the first to notice YHC had a weinke and cardboard… very astute! We exchanged “attaboys” on the hill to nowhere.
- The hill to nowhere is longer than YHC remembered…
- Triple Lindy became our cutoff for the DARTH round and soon as he finished, YHC ended it so we could move on to the VADER portion.
- Rockees are no fun, and we immediately modified to 5 reps instead of 11 per round.
- Splash admitted this beatdown was not as ridiculously stupid as YHCs last Q at Mayhem, thanks buddy!
- High Cotton and Splash spent much of the beatdown discussing some happenings at work. HC also admitted to having done a 24-hr fast prior to his arrival… Good for him, but probably not good for him at F3!
- Root Canal told us about how his proper wife, who has tooted in from of him in 40 years of marriage, knew about his “condition” before they got married. That’s love!
- Crash broke his rock on the ground in an outpouring of rage at YHC… that may be a lie.
- Rust Bucket thinks Chewbacca is a Gremlin and has clearly never seen Star Wars… I guess he’s not perfect after all!
- Bulldog was almost as unhappy to see me as Splash, but I think he enjoyed the beatdown. He muscled through it with ease.
- YHC has only ever seen Double Wide at OGs, but it was great to see him expanding his visited AO list for the year. He said it was about 4 years ago that he’d posted here, when it was at Meadowbrook Elem.
Great to fill in for TO today, he still owes me a Q at SuperMax and Alcatraz, we’ll just put it on his tab… i’ll be holding onto the keys until the debt is paid!
