Today was the day after YHCs 37th birthday… so why not spend the entire beatdown grinding that number into YHCs head so I don’t say the wrong thing during CoT???

 

Warm-o-rama

  • Mission statement 
  • 5 core principles
  • SSH x 37
  • Abe Vigoda x 10
  • Whirlies x 10
  • Shoulderama x 7 x 5

 

The Thang

  • .3 mile loop with three stations
    • Squats x 37 near launch
    • Merkins x 37 near entrance
    • WWIIs x 37 near playground
  • Run in between each station 
  • Repeato til done

 

CoT

  • Prayers for safe lacrosse tournament 
  • Grayson Allen showed up early for the 7 o’clock and joined us
  • YHC took us out in prayer

 

NMM

  • 7 rounds for 2 miles and 259 reps of each exercise.
  • Great to have Steak Knives in town for a lacrosse tournament joining us at 6!
  • Dude was a beast and knocked out all of our Reps like they were nothing.
  • He had to miss the 7 o’clock so his wife could go join FiA, but promised to come back when in town again with some more guys as well! #HIM
  • YHC decided the 5 of us would take turns counting so the other 4 could enjoy time chatting and make the time go by more pleasantly.
  • Schneider was back at the AO for the first time in a while, no lake this weekend! 
  • Crash was in beast mode, likely to look most buff before his daughter headed out to prom later in Saturday.
  • Workbench was able to sneak out to the 6 o’clock ahead of a busy day, which likely included going to do Grit at the Y.
  • Steak Knives pitched the F310Year event, sounds like a weekend full of events! Including a 23 mile ruck?????!
  • YHC disliked counting WWIIs the most because I’m admittedly slow. No doubt the other PAX got well over 37 on those rounds…

 

Indeed 37 reps seems like a lot, but it’s slightly less than 19 in cadence… so it’s all about perspective. Which is the approach I’m taking for this birthday. I appreciate you men going through the motions together with YHC for this ”fun” was of celebrating another year around the sun,
