6 of the Dash’es finest PAX assembled in the soupy early morn for a relaxing beatdown. This week’s beatdowns took a lot out of the Q, so I obliged these HIMs. Having appropriately butchered the core principles for the SpamTan, we moved on to the….

WARMORAMA: which consisted of SSHs, Abe Vigodas, ISTs, and stretchy stretches.

THE THANG: moseyed 30 feet to the rock pile and retrieved a challenging coupon for a very short bit o’work. 15 overhead presses, 15 skull crushers, 15 curls, and 15 bent over rows. We repeated the circuit three times with no breaks.

Tossing our coupons back to their rightful place, we moseyed to the bus parking lot for a taste of Cherry Pie-style work. Bearcrawled to each parking line and at each line we did 10 burkers, then 10 jump squats, then 10 DC mountain climbers, 10 DC lunges, 10 Mike Tysons, 10 tuck jumps, 10 shoulder slap merkins, 10 hill billys, 10 groaners, 10 Wojos, 10 penguin bicycles, 10 Freddy Mercs, and 10 heels to Heaven at the last line.

From there we went under the gate and down to the gravel track, where we made our way around the track, at each “corner”, we did 10 DC ski abs, then 10 DC ski abs, 5 burpees at the next corner, 10 DC ski abs, 5 burpees, and 20 hand release merkins at the third corner, and lastly 10 DC ski abs, 5 burpees, 20 hand release merkins, and 30 WW HIs at the last corner. Unfortunately, there was a tremendous water hazard to get back to the start, so being the cautious Q that I am, we moseyed back around, unwinding the mess that we laid down, so,10 DC ski abs, 5 burpees, and 20 hand release merkins at the third corner, then 10 DC ski abs, 5 burpees at the next corner, and 10 DC ski abs back at our beginning.

We made our way back to the beginning via the greenway, stopping for 20 DC Iron Mikes, 40 squats and 60 Alabama prom dates.

Mary was the Thistle with 11 merkins and Boom, time was up.

COT: Continued prayers for Starfish, his family, and mother as they grieve the passing of the patriarch. Nick is having a nodule removed from his neck, and prayers for the new Dads. Spoke on the value of living in the Truth, but the Truth cannot coexist with lies, which we cling to tenaciously. Lies must be burned as deadwood, which we have a seemingly endless supply of, and that burning away is painful. Unless we give up our lies which we believe we can allow to coexist with the truth ,we are capable of every kind of evil, which of course, we believe we would never do. Our freedom is found in the bright, cleansing light of the Truth.

MNM: The whole Cherry Pie copy at the bus parking lot was met with disdain and the whole track stuff got a bit grumbly, but overall, everyone seemed to think this was a pleasant way to spend the early morn. Turnover, thanks for the keys. I left them in the water hazard on the track
