QIC: Post Hole
Date: 7/2/2021
PAX: Wood Pecker, Razzie (WD), Palin (WB), Post Hole
We were all met with a glorious rain filled morning. 4 PAX braved the wet and assembled at the launch. We held on for an extra minute because a PAX who will remain nameless had said he was coming. He did not show…….. . The morning went like this:
Fast Mosey to the Parking Deck
Warmorama
- SSH x 15
- Hillbillies x 15
- Cherry Pies in a few directions x 15
- Hammy stretch on both sides
The Thang
Pax were instructed to start with one pullup on the tracks, run to the end of deck and complete ten burpees. Every lap, increase by one pull and decrease by one burpees to ten pull ups and one burpee
Everything was going fine until the sky really opened and we decided to omaha the pull ups and switched to squats to finish.
Second the PAX completed BOMBS. Starting at three and increasing by three on every level of the deck to the top. We made it four levels up.
- Bear Crawl/Crawl Bear
- Overhead Claps
- Merkins
- Big Boy Situps
- Squats
Lastly the PAX completed Ring of Fire all the way down stopping at every landing
- PAX circle in high plank and we went around the circle completing ten merkins each
- Palin suggested a modification due to form degradation so YHC called Carolina Dry Docks on the last round.
Mosey to the bottom of the parking deck
MARY
- two or maybe three American Hammers

YHC took us out.
For a minute YHC thought no one would show but you can always count on Palin to make a showing at UA on rain days. We were making coffee plans when Razzie and Wood Pecker showed. We had four PAX and we made it happen. You can always count on good MC with smaller group. We started banter about old cars, fixing them up and the stacks of cash it takes. Pretty much this conversation would come and go throughout the beatdown. Then Razzie nearly tripped on a 3.5″ floppy disk which started a glorious discussion on laser discs, CDs, DVDs and thumb drives. Turns out that Wood Pecker is quite the technology man. Also, we all seem to know or have elders still rocking the VHS and maybe even a Beta. Lastly, the PAX discussed why you should let a fire hydrant run for a few seconds before drinking from it or just don`t do that. Great morning. Great fellowship. Great work.
