Nursing a wonky hamstring, I was determined to take the week off, but a great and true PAX reached out to see if I could substi-Q for Flatline. What could I say? Flatline ain’t Flatline without the ever ebullient Cherry Pie, so I dog whistled him in the PreBlast promising all who entered a lot of arm swirly things, and as predictable as the sun will rise, he took the bait. The dramatic low crescent moon greeted me this morning and served as an inspiration for the Flatline beatdown. The best view was atop the parking deck, so……
we did 10 arm swirly things-Cherry Pie style, burpees, then up the parking deck to admire the awesome moon and do 10 more burpees. Moseyed to Corpening Plaza for the six corners of fun and frolic that were 10 heels to heaven, bear crawl to the next corner for 10 heels to heaven, 20 merkins, bear crawl to the next corner for 10 heels to heaven, 20 merkins, 30 WW II;s, bear crawl to the next corner for 10 heels to heaven, 20 merkins, 30 WW II’s, 40 plank jacks, bear crawl to the next corner for 10 heels to heaven, 20 merkins, 30 WW II’s, 40 plank jacks, 50 squats, bear crawl to the last corner for 10 heels to heaven, 20 merkins, 30 WW III’s, 40 plank jacks, 50 squats, 60 mountain climbers(DC).
Moseyed up to the reflecting pool for 20 dips, 10 erkins, 10 Peter Parkers, 10 Mike Tysons, 20 dips, 10 Peter Parkers, 10 Mike Tysons, 20 dips, 10 derkins, 10 Peter Parkers, 10 Mike Tysons- no breaks, fast fast fast.
Moseyed up a level or two of the parking deck for 20 pull ups and 40 gas pumps.
Moseyed back to the start for Mary Mary Quite Contrary until time had unfortunately expired.
COT: Thanks for the awkward discomfort that comes from growth. Tough stuff is not always bad.
MNM: Bevo is very focused on form as always and does not cheat himself. Mutton and BAM provide great gravitas to any proceeding and makes me feel more important because they showed up. Lamb Chop is increasing range of motion. And Cherry Pie makes Flatline what it is. Every one of you is such a gift in my life and the best part of my day, other than my M and 2.0’s, of course.
