Making the loop at Urban Assault
QIC: Post Hole
Date: 2/11/2022
PAX: Root Canal, Frostbite, Drip, Spicoli, Crash, Lambchop, Chick Flick, Truck Stop
Weather was cool and clear. With only a few minutes to start time an amazing group assembled for today`s Urban Assault. The Q not feeling overly creative, I relied on a memory of a sparsely attended beatdown from sometime ago. Luckily for this crew, none of them attended that beatdown. If they had they would have known what was coming and prolly would have mutinied. Shout out to Greenspan for this one! I never attended the Dawg Pound but I wish I had.

NMM
Best estimates we covered about 3 miles. If you ask Lamb Chop it was more like 6. This group of PAX had no idea what was coming there way. Every one dug in grinded all the way to the finish. Sure there were a few groans of disapproval for the distance. The MC was strong and the laughing drowned out the groans. That is until the hill at Salem Ave….. then all you could here was huffing. Crash even said he was too out of breath to talk. All YHC could get out was, “me too”. The hill behind us, the chatter fired up to the finish. Strong work by all for what was a slightly modified, recycled, beatdown. No better place to be on Friday than at Urban Assault!
A day late, Happy Birthday to Lamb Chop who is 31!
Great to see Truck Stop this morning.
YHC took us out.

Spicoli
This put YHC and @Drip to the test. A lot of mileage but solid tour of the long Branch trail.
