Over the weekend, YHC was thinking through what to pull out from the archives for the fine pax of #TheIronThrone.  Nothing really seemed to fit or seem that fun or interesting.  So, YHC decided we would try something completely different and come up with a new framework for our Monday morning workout.  Not sure if it worked or not, but everyone did seem to get a sufficient workout in and all three Fs were on display.  @Crash made several guesses as to what YHC had in his bag of tricks this morning and came close with a couple of them (tiles, scrabble tiles, etc) but, alas, it was dominoes in the bag.  A double 12 set in fact.

The Thang:  Shakin’ Dominoes

Each pax grab 5 dominoes out of the bag.  Highest double starts the game (@GreenAcres with a double 12).  Pax call two exercises.  One for each section of the domino they are playing.  So, for instance, @GreenAcres called 12 curls and 12 skull crushers which the pax performed OYO.  Then next up had to play dominoes from his pile, picking up where the last pax left off (so, for instance, YHC called 12 skull crushers and 1 jump squat while playing the 12-1 off @GreenAcres’ initial play.  Play rotated around the circle with pax calling two exercises each as they played their dominoes.  If the pax didn’t have an appropriate domino to play, they had to run to the basketball court and draw another domino while the rest of the pax either performed burpees or SSH.  If the ends of the domino train added up to a multiple of 5, that pax scored that many points and all pax performed 5 burpees.  We made it around two full rounds.  Only had two pax have to run (@Lace and @GreenAcres) and had multiple pax score points so there were a plethora of burpees performed this morning.  Sometimes on top of blockees which had been called.

It might have been the oxygen deprivation, but we all had a little trouble keeping the exercises straight since there were 4 available exercises live at any point in the game.  May have to add a cheat sheet or whiteboard or something if we pull this one out again.

@Tonka brought his little brother James out as an FNG.  It was a bit confusing because James was completely decked out in F3 gear.  We ended up naming him @HotWheels after considerable debate.

Several pax had never played dominoes before.  Now they have.

@Boomerang mentioned that we should share this workout with @Spamalot now that he is down at the Villages in Florida and those folks like to play dominoes.
