Six pax enjoyed a classic redline at the beautiful and muggy Hanes Park logging slightly more than 4 miles.
Warm-o-rama.
Obligatory clockwise lap around Hanes Park to see how the legs will be feeling for the morning cruise around the track. Following the lap we continued our warm up with some high knees, butt kickers, karaokes both directions and a leisurely stroll to the track starting line for some static stretching and communication of the morning plan.
The Thang
4 x400m Fartleks (increasing effort/pace each 100 meters…25% > 50% > 75% > whatever is left in the tank without getting injured) with 100m recovery
8x110m with 100m recovery

Prayers for YHC’s family as we finish up renovations on my parents home. Prayers of thanksgiving for the opportunity to exercise with other men in the community each week.

- There were no Pax who RIRO today
- Airbag intended on attending Flatline, but made a wrong turn and ended up at Redline #trackexperience
- Interference cut-off the drinks early the night before at the 4th of July party aiming to be prepared for a fast run at Redline. He led the pax with Airbag most of the morning. #drinks
- Suede met the Pax in his normal spot near Joymongers during the HP warm up lap. He must like the counter-clockwise view better. #5:30
- Hitman was showing some exemplary speed this morning #wheels
- Manscape as usual represented the double respects superbly #resilient
- Each him had the opportunity to extend their stride this morning in a classic redline fashion
