YHC had his third Q in as many weeks and this was a makeup date for Flatline from the beginning of August.  Coming up with a plan involved not doing a complete repeat of my last two workouts, so I came up with the following

Parking lot mosey lap with some IC SSH, Imperial Walkers, etc in the four corners.

On second lap,

Stop in each corner:

  • Corner 1: Electric Chairs IC x 20
  • Corner 2: Shoulder tap Merkin x 20 OYO  (hold plank when done)
  • Corner 3: Sprinter Abs x 20 (hold reverse plank when done)
  • Corner 4: Burpees with clap x 20 (hold plank when done)

 

Line up on parking spaces: 

 

  • Bear crawl between spaces: 1 merkin to the end
  • Crawl Bear: 2 squats per line on the way back

 

Mosey to the wall:

 

  • People’s Chair with Jack Reachers x20
  • Donkey Kicks x 10
  • Sprint down lot, mosey back
    • Repeato

 

8 round Ciabatta:

  • Merkin with squat
  • Freddy Mercuries
  • 2 x2 x 2 Squats
  • Crabcake glute bridge
    • X2
  • 2 minutes to Sprint down to the “Clean Earth” truck and back, twice. Recover with any time left

 

COT

 

Lambchop took us out praying for a successful anatomy scan this week and prayers for those struggling with addiction.

 

***  YHC broke normal protocol with a comment after closing with the following:
There has been poor discourse over loan forgiveness and I ask you to consider the following statement: “Why should I help that person who is drowning when I had to swim to shore?” Is that your mentality when asked to help others?  We all do better when we all do better.  

 

Moleskin

 

  • YHC arrived early to see a running tractor trailer at the east side of the parking lot.  Kind of jammed up part of the plan as well as the Clean Earth Truck in the middle of the lot.  Today was supposed to be all things with lines in the Flat lot.
  • Both @Lambchop and @Palin pre-MCed the Q about whether today was a repeat of the last two times I Q’ed.  I told them emphatically that it was most definitely not the exact same workout.  They caught onto the wording and were not convinced.
  • About 25 minutes into the workout @ChickFlick asked YHC if we were spending the entire workout in the launch parking lot to which YHC said that was definitely a possibility.  I’ll make it more exciting for the #WarBaby next time 🙂
  • @CherryPie continues to practice #SpicoliTime.  @Palin is concerned.  YHC is not.
  • Also of note, but no surprise to those that know him: @CherryPie aka #WarDaddyPie was out front.  The whole time.  #Respect
  • @Schlitz loves burpees.  I think.
  • Our illustrious Nantan, @Wobegon, was in attendance.  During the bear crawl/merkin section of the workout across the parking lot, a clarification question of “…stop at every line?” was asked.  Yes.  Every line.  But he got and stayed after it.
