It is a well established fact the YHC is a UGA alum and lifelong dawg fan. It was an honor to lead BnW last January after the first football national championship in 41 years, and YHC didn’t have to wait that long to Q after the next championship! Coach Smart had some strong things to say the past couple weeks that relate to why F3 is so special.
On the comeback against OSU last week, when asked why was it possible? Connection, the connection between players is what made it possible. They believed in each other and worked together. (Of course, we know some of this is “coach speak” and doesn’t mean OSU wasn’t connected, but still the point stands)
And after the dominating win on Monday night, Kirby said the young men on his team weren’t afraid of work. When you put a group of folks together who are connected to one another and not afraid of work, of doing the hard things, you can accomplish greatness!
This morning, YHC needed to do a run beforehand instead of our usual ruck, and 3 other pax joined me, helped me push and gave great fellowship. (of course that meant they ditched Bluto and he had to walk by himself, but this the “Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?” part of the speech)
So, YHC put together a championship quality playlist, created a collection of exercises to celebrate the winning team and the pax got after it!

- Even if you create a playlist on Amazon, looks like they automatically shuffle the tunes around, with over 60 minutes of tunes curated, some “good ones” were missed
- There was an HOA violation with the huge trailer at our AO, but didn’t impact pax and was a nice place to set speaker
- Because of said speaker and tunes cranked up, MC that the Q could hear was reduced, other than
- BALCO said 2nd round of Brock Bowers catch me if you cans was a time waster.
- Rubber Ducky is taking the lead for friendliest and most cheerful pax – dude is always working, smiling, and chatting folks up!
- Slim Starfish was flying during the Darnell 1-2-3’s (YHC was very appreciative)
- Closer stated he hit the wall on the hill work, so that’s a positive
- Atrophy rocked some solid UGA gear
- There was a cheap shot thrown at poor old Wake Forest during Drake’s “Started from the Bottom” that was uncalled for
