12 at Purgatory this morning, where “precisely at 0700,” the scheduled Q was oversleeping in his comfortable bed. Thanks to Bluto for a nudge, and within minutes I was on my way, carrying tunes and ready to call exercises just as the PAX were selecting rocks. Fittingly, YHC took the longest to select a rock– more of a large pebble really, compared to the monoliths of Green Acres and Bam.
Unaware of what had transpired in the “few minutes” before my arrival, I took over full of vim and vigor, and other fluids as I neglected to relieve myself before speeding to Speas Elementary.
Rockpile:
Curls x 10
Skull Crusher (led ably by Green Acres as I fiddled with iPhone and Speaker) x 10
Presses x 10
Rowers x 10, then repeat the Curls x 10.
Chainlink Fence:
PAX divided on either side of fence, passed rocks along down the line, and then back. PAX seemed bemused by this Utterly Pointless task, but finished without any smashed toes.
Peloton Run:
Q though this was a great idea until he learned that PAX had done it twice already, and did it anyway.
Small Playground:
10 pullups followed by 20 Low flutters, repeat x 5 total.
Dora 100-150-200:
Partner work for American Hammer, LBCs, and Squats.
Mary by Committee:
Greenacres made sure we got in Tempo Merkins (thank goodness! am I right?). We also did Freddies, Mouton Crunches, Windshield Wipers, Crunchy Frogs.
COT: Welcome to FNG Roy Pardee, who bears a resemblance to Splash, and was given the water-themed moniker of Geyser. Blood Drive 2/18 at Coliseum Red Cross (you’ll get a $10 gift card and may win a trip to Transylvania or somewhere). Splash says you have more blood than you need, and not for the first time. Prayers for aging parents, Bam’s 2.0 who may be proposed to very soon, for Splash and Geyser’s mother entering Salem Towne soon, for Elaine. You guys rock.
