Cruising downtown during the middle of the day at Conspiracy

Forgoing YHC’s usual Wednesday haunts at the request of the site Q, the car headed what most folks would consider towards downtown.  However, the Q learned that many pax have a much narrower/literal understanding of downtown than evidently YHC does.  That’s not surprising, YHC freely admits his views in many things have become more generous, some would say loving over recent years.  (Not on form of course, there’s no deviation on that!)  So, when the young whippersnapper site Q was worried that because my pre-blast mentioned downtown at Hanes Park that YHC was confused, he had no idea.

It was a glorious gathering of more recent and classic pax, and the Q was thankful Spicoli wasn’t running on “his” time, because of what was planned.

Warmorama

  • Roaming warmup!
  • SSH and then mosey to Hawthorne and Runnymede, stopping various times for additional warmup exercises

  • 100 Merkins
  • 200 Squats
  • 300 Freddie Mercs

Mosey to Ed Hill

Jacobs Ladder

  • 1 WWII at top
  • 7 deconstructed burpees at the bottom
  • then up and down 2 & 6, 3 & 5, etc..

Bataan Death March

  • Single file line, slow mosey
  • Pax in back does 7 merkins then runs to catch up
  • new pax at end of line does 7, etc until all have done merkins

Mosey to Parking lot

  • Mutton Crunches, because you have to when he’s there
  • Heels to Heaven
  • Peter Parkers
  • maybe something else

  • The Q may have called this my fave mid-day workout at the beginning, but details
  • Frostbite made some snarky Redline comment when we started running, but don’t think he knows what happens at Redline, so didn’t worry too much about it
  • Schlitz was still hacking up body paint during Dora, assuming that explained the unique sounds the pax heard
  • Always fun when Snooki and Razzie join!  Must have been a lapse in their Top Tier Theory gym membership
  • Mutton has ugly clothes
  • Education Hill never disappoints
  • Lots of fraternizing during Mary, assuming that means we didn’t work hard enough #cobains
  • 2.3 miles were covered, well done!

  • Dixon clan – Service for Will is April 16, 3 pm, First Pres (that is actually downtown)

  • Thankful for the gift of community
