YHC woke up with 2 plans this morning. One for the garage and one for staying outside. As I arrived, the rain had stopped and the radar looked clear. Outside was the way to go.
After a very brief warm-arama with 25 Side Straddle Hops, the Pax departed for the steep hill up 4th street. After another brief stop to catch our breath and execute 25 somewhat flawed Imperial Storm Troopers, we began the workout in earnest.
Because I am not too clever, I recycled an old work out back to my birthday almost 2 months ago. It went something like this.
Run to the coffee shop across from Cycle Bar.
Partner up.
Partner A does 1 squat, Partner B does 2 squats. Then A does 3 and B 4 an so on to 10. Back down to 1 squat and add two for good measure.
Run from 4th street to Centenary Church and partner up.
Partner A executes 1 Merkin, Partner B 2 Merkins. Then A does 3, B does 4 and so on up t0 10, then back down to 1. At the end, we all did 2 extra.
Next stop, a parking lot at Broad and 4th Street.
Lunge walk with your partner. Same count as above where A lunges one step with each leg and B then lunges 2 with each leg. All the way to 10, but not back to 1.
Run down 4th to Poplar. Wall sit with Jack Reachers. With a partner, same as above. All the way to 10 and back down. Add 2 at the end.
Mosey to the stage on Marshall St for dips. Same as above. Added 10 box jumps here too.
Mosey back to 4th St and Liberty for Low Flutter with your partner.
One last stop on our way home for Freddie Mercs with partner.
All in all we covered nearly 2.5 miles and all exercises added up to 57 reps per partner. I have made 57 successful laps around the sun as of 2/21/23.
Glad to see Mittens again. He got his name at Conspiracy on Wednesday. Guess we did not scare him off!
Really happy to be with this Pax on a very uncertain morning. I usually run Tractors so I was happy to get some miles in as well.
All Pax please remember the memorial for Starfish’s son and Frostbite’s brother this Sunday at 3pm at 1st Pres.
YHC took us out praying for peace within the Dixon family and for all Pax with medical issues.
Thanks for the key Post Hole
