Holy late to post a full Backblast Adobe! My apologies gents for the delay and the HORRIBLE Apple Music Playlist I randomly chose for this workout. ( More sorry about the playlist )

Without further adieu, let the story begin.

 

We began with the Mission Statement and 5 Core Principles ( per the US-ual ) ✓

Warm-O-Rama:

SSH, Whirly w. Clap, and a little Bro-ga stretching. ( Some jerk Q the day before really did a number on the ole legs )

The THANG:

I mentioned in the preblast that this workout was going to be a slight continuation of my workout the day before. Full disclosure….By slightly, I meant in a 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of way. The day before I led a Parliament workout called “The Rahm-Bo” ( Jon Rahm won the Masters, his nickname is Rahm-Bo, obviously evokes memories of super awesome Rambo movies. And since I like to throw a little “this day in History” like my man Pony Express, April 12th was the day the Civil War officially began in 1861 with the attack on Fort Sumter ). Andddddd, since war is h3ll and stupid, and I love MCU – Capt. America, Civil War, we were going to do a LOT of stupid things__TOGETHER__. This workout is called, Unite Or Die.

Pretty simple premise. 2 Stations at each end of the Parking Lot ( more running….yeah! ). At station 1, you perform 20 reps of the exercise listed, then you do 10 Burpees. Run to station 2, perform the first exercise again and the next exercise, 20 reps each, and then do an additional 10 Burpees. And so on, and so on, and so on.

Exercises were:

Low Flutters, Heels To Heaven, Low Dollies, WW2’s, Mountain Climbers, Plank Jacks, American Hammers….and all the Burpees in between. ( See images below. )

This was a TON of FUN. Not.

All PAX killed it, and in record time. I really needed to add two more exercise sets to this one to fill out the 45 minutes. So, had to think on my feet; never a good thing. PAX were instructed to go grab some blocks rocks ( Sorry Splash ).

We did a mixture of things, all PAX called out different block rock exercises. I did have a stupid idea for one. Similar to a Ring of Fire, but with rocks ( this one didn’t go so well…really needed blocks instead ). All PAX got in a close circle, hold an Al Gore, do 10 OH Presses, and then pass your rock to the right. Keep going until you got your original rock back.
Cruiser, of course, grabbed the biggest rock ( mannimal ). His rock gave everyone a hernia.

MARY:

With a few minutes left we did some light Mary. Started with some Body Destroyers, then Penguin Crunch, the Mutton Crunch ( L & R ).

You guys did great this morning. Even through the HORRIBLE intro that I completely butchered and the God Awful ” 60’s Protest Playlist ” from Apple Music ( seriously guys, just go Spotify ).

I did get a lot of Hates this morning, even though I am only 43.

I am still having trouble walking.

Not sure I will recycle this workout. Just dumb.
