The Estate

PAX: Mutton, Turnover, Crash, Wobegon
The Estate was brought back by Wobegon a few months ago. For many years it was a well attended Monday AO and then it wasn’t. I am not sure why as it is convenient and offers a lot of variety. You can head off to Wake Forest or go the other way to Reynolda House and Gardens. Or, like yesterday, stay in the main village and mix in a good amount of running with core exercises.
After a brief and typical warm-a-rama the Pax did the following:
1st station above D0-Joes near the sandwich shop.
Right and left leg step ups x 10
Dips x 20
LBCs x 30
2nd station at the bridge over the creek.
Derkins x 10
Squats x 20
Low Flutter (double count) x 30
3rd station by benches along path to Reynolda House
Merkins (double count) x 10
Lunges x 10 each leg
Mutton Crunches x 15 each side
This felt like a mix of WIB and Flatline. The Pax stayed moving the entire time and there was a good mix of running and core. We made it through 3 rounds with a short amount of time for Mary.
I encourage Pax who enjoyed The Estate from long ago to try it again. No traffic, beautiful setting and lots of variety.
Prayers for Turnover’s wife and their impending birth or their 4th child. Prayers for safe vacation travesl.
