NMM:
- Wobegon and YHC got the campus 2-mile run in ahead of the workout. Great being with the Nantan who informed YHC that Wake students Ubering from their dorms to classes was a thing.
- Even before we started, Frost Bite remarked how quiet the growing gathering was in the gloom. That would remain consistent for the rest of the morning…
- …except for Cherry Pie! CP made quite the entrance, flying into the village after SSHs and scattering the pax. Later, another vehicle scattered the pax in the lower lot with an approach that seemed unnecessarily close to the clustered group. Heads on a swivel, boys.
- CP was also pushing the pace and yapping throughout, as usual.
- Transcript was grinding at the start and leading at the end. Great push, brother.
- Starfish got a good night’s sleep and was on point this morning, as was Mutton doing his thing.
- Great to see Rust Bucket during his winter migration. He and The Singing Cowboy ought to look into car pooling on their seasonal trips.
- Transcript and Wobie were overheard discussing philosophy and book recommendations. Transcript has a regular ride up to Randleman and, thus, plenty of windshield time for good audiobooks and podcasts.
- There was a kind breeze from the south that we gratefully ran into on the way to the gate.
Announcements:
- GreenNest returns to a twice-monthly cadence in October. See Starfish if you can help.
- Transcript has Conspiracy Q tomorrow. YHC has OGs/Tractors Q on Friday.
Prayer Requests:
- Clemmons family, the Reeses, at the sudden loss of their daddy/husband from heart attack.
YHC took us out thanking the SkyQ for the morning and the men surrounding me.
Thanks for the keys, Wobie! I left them hanging on the gate at Reynolda.
