A Simple Day at the Country Estate

BEATDOWN.

Super simple workout.  

 

Starting on the bridge for the walking trail between Reynolda Village and the WFU campus, which goes over the part of Silas Creek that flows into Lake Katherine, do 5 Flying Squirrels.

 

Run towards campus until you reach a light post.  Do 2 Perfect Merkins, 2 Mary Katherines, and 2 Dead Bugs.

 

Run back to the start point and do 5 Flying Squirrels.

 

Run past the first light post to the next light post and do 4 of each exercise.

 

Run back to the start point and do 5 Flying Squirrels.

 

Continue this pattern until the 8th light post is reached, 16 reps of each exercise.

 

At the launch point, do Cirque du Soleil abs.

 

DONE.

 

THOUGHTS.

  • It was a very pleasant morning to workout with some good friends.
  • Giles was the only smart one in the PAX and decided to choose whichever light post he wanted to go to.
  • Burlap only had nice things to say.
  • Rubber Ducky gave 110%, but then left early.  If we average out his percentage for the entire workout, it’s about an 84.3%
  • Mutton is all of the sudden magically a Duke football fan.  Huh.
  • Giles LOVED the Mary portion of the beatdown.
