7 joined me in cheering on my Texas Rangers who are currently 7-0 in the postseason and 2 wins away from advancing to the World Series.
I realize that this Q may potentially call on the Baseball gods to bring me devastating heartbreak just as they did in 2011 (Rangers lose in 7 games to Cardinals), and most recently in 2023 (Wake Forest losing to LSU in CWS). But hey, still better than the Braves, amirite? @Burns @Bam
It was quite a chilly morning and majority of the #Pax were dressed in head to toe.
Warmarama:
- SSH (IC x 25ish?) – banter was all time high and #Pax weren’t keeping count so when @Dr. Toot yelled out “ELEVEN” randomly, we went up to 20.
- This is flatline. No more warming up.
The Thang
- #Pax were instructed to do a set of exercises for set amount of reps. All OYO. Location varied:
- R – Ranger Merkins
- A – Alabama Prom Dates
- N – Nolan Ryans (I mean, we had to, right?)
- G – Gas Pumps
- E – Elbow Plank Jacks
- R – Ranger Merkins
- S – Smurf Jacks
And because the Rangers have a prolific offense and hit bombs. We did B.O.M.B.S.

Quick stop outside 1st Pres to do these wall jump type-a-things where hands are on wall and jump up. @CP’s emotions got hurt for not being tall enough

Bottom of Park: 5 BOMBS
Mosey to @Chick Flick’s abode to distract him from “studying” or a late night of “studying.” We did exercises that he would be proud of.

Pickle Pounders (20 oyo) – because that is probably what @Chick Flick was actually doing late last night

We resorted to true B.O.M.B.S : partner up. Partner A does exercise while partner B runs up stairs and back down. And Switch. Cumulative amount of reps to set total.

NMM:
- Almost fisticuffs between @CP and @Spicoli. As trolls came in on @CP’s height, @Spicoli did not stand up for what is right (as he usually does) thus, upsetting @CP
- I was paired up with @CP for the partner BOMBS. We did not do Overhead Claps…but @CP did step in some dog S@#$ so that was a pleasant smell partnering up with
- @Lamb Chop tried to convince @Dr. Decay that there is an annual costume Halloween Party @Dr. Toot’s practice. @Dr. Decay was not buying it, but did mention, his father, a partner at the same practice, is a big Halloween guy. Sounds like with some fresh blood, a new tradition is born.
- @Rubber Ducky cannot believe that Truliant does not have 1 office in his entire building but have the naming rights to the building formerly known as Winston Tower.
- @Drip was nice as ever.
- I needed my father there to support in our Rangers fanfare but he is too busy going to Game 4 on Thursday.
- The title of this workout is tribute to the mantra of the Rangers Postseason. Here’s to them not blowing it and me taking the blame.

- F3GSO celebrating 9 years this weekend. Clown cars from Speas. (I actually believe I was there for a few of the initial workouts with @Burlap and @Starfish).
- @Rubber Ducky has never met @Red Baron but was awfully intrigued by @Red Baron Q’ing #IS on Saturday. We warned him…
