YHC has designated Harper Hill Commons on at least 2 other WIB occasions with roughly the same route.  It has always been a crowd pleaser with a good mix of hills to run up and down and just enough stops and exercises to get a full body workout.  Why change a good thing.

Pax gathered at the appropriate location but there was some time discrepancies.  Close enough to 0530.  When Cherry Pie joined the circle we ran thru a few standard warmoramas and noticeably avoided arm swirlies.  We did finish with dry dock crabs which loosened everyone up for a little break dancing at the club tonight.

We then began our journey around Harper Hill.  Round one demo consisted of 5 reps

At corner near Harris Teeter – slide your VIC card merkins (aka slerkins)

Up the hill to Walgreens – LBCs (or ab exercise of your choice)

Down the sidewalk to benches – Dips

Around the corner to fire hydrant – Fire hydrants (each leg)

Back up to main area near 9 Round – Mike Tysons

Back to start/finish – increase reps by 5 each round

All made 5 full rounds and then 30 slerkins at the start/finish line

We polished it off with a little Mary.

Good to meet Dr. Decay.  He’s young but didn’t leave YHC too far behind

Trio of Cherry Pie, Greenspan, and Dr Toot crushed it as expected

Slerkins after Mike Tysons are no joke

Very well lit AO with exception of hill up to Walgreens – little light pollution so you can see the stars

Shoulders were the featured muscle group – Dr Toot reported difficulty in raising arms to shampoo
