csaup trivia tabata from 8/23 at mayhem

Really disappointed in myself for not posting this bb closer to the date we actually did the workout. yhc put the quick backblast on slack and in fact the 90 days has elapsed and so the post is no longer available! a scary moment ensued where I was uncertain I’d be able to recall then remembered I could go back into google photos and search by date for the video of the cot names. will typically tape this and transcribe it later.
this one was ‘trivia’, a favorite – where the trivia is mostly csaup and the theme was the day’s date, aug 23! for whatever reason (maybe it was threatening rain) yhc planned to stay under the shelter.
most csaup trivia is 50/50’s or sometimes 50/50’s with a ridiculous answer thrown in for good measure. yhc just has to spend a little time going through the internet looking for trivia questions.
The way it works is there is a list of exercises we can do in place. and a list of trivia questions. ask a question, either going around the circle or allowing all the pax to answer, though we mostly did the former. i will say whiteclaw and jolly rancher really killed it.
tabata timer with 45 sec on and 30 sec off. if the pax gets the answer right during the 30 sec break, we do the next exercise on the list. if they miss it, we do burpees for 45 sec.

One can see yhc’s technique for making trivia – find some day related things, do some stream of consciousness connection from one question to another, generating questions as quickly as possible and getting them written down and printed.
I recall several fun conversations about commodes and toilets and other topics from drama queen, plunger, cruiser, subfloor and zima from as we proceeded from commodus to the inventor of the toilet and other toilet related discussion, and overall great performance especially from whiteclaw and jolly rancher. A good time had by all!
