Pulled in the lot at 0520 to set up and stretch. Drano & H.O.G. were already out on a 5-miler #tclaps. Cars showed up, pax loitered in the warmth until the last minute, then gathered around the speaker where they saw two jumpropes and had questions. YHC got to meet Draftee in those last pre-WoR moments, too – always great meeting new PAX, even if they are WeFoCo…
WoR: SSH, Hillbillies, Whirlies, Toy Soldiers, Jack Reachers, Michael Phelps. Dynamic warm up to the blocks, select one and carry one back to the circle.
The Thang: 30 sec on, 15 sec off of the exercises listed out below. Two jump ropes were randomly distributed in the circle, and passed clockwise each round, so when you got a jump rope that superceded your required exercise that round. All exercises could be modified as necessary, as always.

4 sets were completed in their entirety before blocks were returned and time was called, no Mary to be had.
It was a cold one, and my fingertips are still thawing out. Ziggy has phenomenal jump rope form. 60 would have been fine with just 3 sets. A general lack of MC for most of the morning – Sour Mash was surprisingly quiet. The site Q was missed, but he made sure that the shovel flag was present via Subfloor’s trunk. Draftee was killing it… I didn’t get to chat with him much after our initial intro, but I have a feeling he’ll be a staple at workouts to come. DQ remarked at the end of the CoT that it was a “Good Old Fashioned Parliament Beatdown.” The highest praise.
Convergence for our Aluminum Anniversary on Saturday 1.6 at Hanes Park, 0700. Check your spam folders, Wobegon sent out an email about it today.
Prayers for 60’s family and for aging parents, in particular Ziggy’s mom who broke her hip a couple weeks back.
