Miller Time – High Life
QIC: Mutton
Date: 05/14/2024
PAX: Mutton, Frostbite, Brownbag, Heizleberg
3 Pax braved my virgin Q at the High Life yesterday at Miller Park. The rain had stopped and while it was humid, YHC was surprised to see only 3 Pax waiting on my arrival. This is a great AO and great chance to meet new Pax who find morning workouts problematic.
The Thang:
Upon arrival and reciting the core principals, YHC informed the Pax the workout would resemble Flatline. And with that, we immediately took off for a quick jog towards the tennis courts.
First stop – 20 Side Straddle Hops
Second stop – 10 SSH, 20 Imperial walkers
Third stop – 10 SSH, 15 IWs, 20 Monkey Humpers
Fourth stop – 5 SSH, 10 IWs, 15 MHs and 20 Hillbillies
This got the blood sufficiently flowing for the next test.
YHC was hoping for at least 6 total Pax, but with 4 total, we executed a revised 4 man grinder in the parking lot.
1 Pax stayed home, 3 Pax ran to the top of the lot where another Pax remained. The other 2 ran back to relieve the first Pax.
We went through 4 rounds of the following exercises. Each exercise was completed 3 times.
Squats/Erkins
Imperial Walkers/Hillbillies
Pickle Pounders/Alabama Prom Dates
Lunges/Overhead Claps
Our heart rates remained elevated as we jogged down the path from the lot to the fitness area where we paired up for the following:
Partner A performed 1 Merkin, Partner B 2 Merkins, A 4, B5 all the way to 10 and back down again.
Same thing for World War II sit ups.
1 Minute of Mary for Mutton Crunches x 10
COT: Prayers for Glazer and his family following the loss of his mother in Ohio.
