Return of No Drama Just Queen in The Village

It had been a while since YHC used this beatdown that features all Queen music. It has been performed (ok that is a little dramatic) not only at several Dash AOs but down range in Waynesville #hometown and John’s Island #plungersnewhome. But there are several new guys making regular appearances at VI, and YHC is also a little lazy in thinking up new things. And it is a pretty good full body beatdown. Nuff said – let the fun begin.
Bohemian Rhapsody – Warmorama – going thru various warm up exercises as music and/or words changed. Started slow with stretching, moved to jab cross on “Mama just killed a man” Other features were SSHs during guitar solos, some running in place, high knees and butt kickers and Michael Phelps, finishing with more stretching as the music slowed at the end.
Musical Dora – one pax performed exercise while other ran and flap jack upon return. Exercise lasted length of the appropriate song
Another One Bites The Dust – hand release merkins
Fat Bottomed Girls – squats
Bicycle Race – Freddie Mercurys (of course)
Move down to the rocks for
We Will Rock You – perform 10 reps of curls, overhead press and skull crushers. Then repeat the cycle until both WWRY and We Are The Champions finish
Time for the crowd pleaser
Under Pressure – Partner merkins – one pax planks with feet on other pax back. Then flapjack. Goal was to start with 10 then go down by 2. Took us roughly to the end of the song.
Then to something we all love
Crazy Little Thing Called Love – Burpee every time Freddie sings “love”
Just enough time so back to the side parking lot for
Killer Queen – A great workout finishes with suicides. 2 complete runs then a few Mary exercises to finish off song.

Wahoo was an early arrival and introduced his FIL Tony who lives in Hillsville, VA. We discussed flea market and the greater Galax, Fries, Hillsville metroplex. We later found out he was a Michigander and Cruiser struck up the Buckeye-Wolverine conversation. That led to his naming Sweater Vest. Cruiser went 2nd layer on the rival name and brought Jim Tressel back from the early part of the century. Welcome Sweater Vest – hope you join us often and/or find a F3 near Hillsville – perhaps some traveling flea marketers.
Q fail – YHC forgot the initial disclaimer, core principles and mission statement. All that was covered for the FNG during mosey to rocks

Crash early called the Freddie Mercs but he caught on to the theme quickly however his rock choice may have been a little aggressive
All put in the work and seemed to have gotten their money’s worth with no complaints about the music or beatdown
