YHC, Post Hole, Schlitz, Frostbite for the EC 5k. Perfect morning for a run. YHC grabbed the Q when Schlitz put out the all-call on Wednesday…he needs more guys to fill out the roster for the rest of the year! *cough* @Dolly @inspector gadget @wahoo @candyland @lincoln @tarheel @all the other regulars

0530 welcome, mission statement, core principles, WoR. We did SSH x12 IC, Whirlies x12 IC, Abe Vs x6 I(very slow)C, Stretchy stretch, Merkins x12 IC, Hillbillies x12IC, and Michael Phelps IC

The thang – mosey to the Long Branch Trail and partner up. We played “Catch Me If You Can” all the way to MLK (evil grin). Partner A began a slow slow mosey while Partner B did 5 Mike Tysons, the ran to catch up, then flip flopped all the way down the trail for .75 miles. Then we moseyed over to the parking lot on the corner of MLK and Research Pkwy. Starting at 1 end of the lot, mosey to the other end stopping at each traffic island for 10 merkins, 20 jump squats, and 30 low flutters. Plank for the six. Return trip stopping at each island for 5 burpees, 10 bonnie blairs (dc, duh), and 15 heels to heaven. Back to the trail for “Catch Me If You Can” all the way back to launch, but this time doing 5 WWIIs. 1.5m of Mary, we did American Hammers until time.

NMM – 2 miles covered by the pax this morning, excellent work by all in attendance. Lots of running, hence the BB title pulled from a line from the T.I. anthem “What You Know” … I’m fast as lightnin bruh you better get your Nikes bruh.  Lamb Chop and Spicoli were out front with Root Canal most of the time. Post Hole was a great partner for CMIYC. I didn’t catch all the MC but I’m sure it was complimentary at worst…nary a complaint to be had. Spirits were high and the boyz were juicy.

Announcements – keep an eye out for info on upcoming Happy Hours – next Thursday will be at the locale affectionately known in my family as BrewDubs (Brouwerij DuBois). Service night at Samaritans Ministries this month is full, as is our Sam & Eggs table, but more service nights will be forthcoming. Prayers for Dave Harden, F&B’s mother and his upcoming travel to visit, and our pax who are injured, hurting, recovering, or otherwise unable to make it out. Love you guys.

Schlitzy, the keys are in good hands. You picked them up, right?
