Retirement surprise celebration!

PAX: See the video attached! Unbelievable number of guys surprised the heck out of me. 46 in the COT video, but Lambchop left just before COT, so 47! Spooky match with my 46 yr full time pharmacy career. What a wonderful morning! Love you guys!

wow!  Retirement Rock Quarry blew my mind so bad it took a week to get a BB done. Quite a surprise that started dawning on me when I walked up and saw Boomerang and a couple others in the gloom wearing tank tops. Loved it and was so happy and laughing, but also really moved, feeling the love of such great friends. 🥹. Then guys just KEPT rolling in. Amazing and humbling to see so many, and all in tanktops!  😂. Y’all looked great! Finally realized it was a convergence to celebrate my retirement. OMG I had no idea!  So exciting and made me so happy and feeling the love of great friends. Quickly realized my planned workout needed revision. Did the usual Warmarama, but left out Y-flies to do soon when we started spelling:

Ranger merkins

E2K or Elbow to Knee (same as mutton crunch but full crunch touching E to K)

Toy soldier walk

Irkins

RL step ups

Elevated leg raises

Derkins

LL step ups

Irkins

Flies of the Y variety

E2K

Then to parking lot in front of school. Strolled to 2nd island so we had 4 sections left. Bear crawl with 3 merkins each parking space for 1st and 3rd sections, lunge walk with 3 squats each space for 2nd and 4th sections of the lot. Then we split up into 2 groups and went to the 2 playgrounds for 3 rounds of 10 pull-ups, 20 merkins, 30 squats. Then to school walls (3 sides!) for 2 min wall sit and 1 min BTTW. Back to start for Mary:  LBC’s, lo-flutter, and 3 Huck Merkins! (Maybe more but not sure…).  Then HUGE COT and name-arama (see the video)   First part of one of the best days of my life (first Thursday HH&H at my house later same day was also fantastic)

Premature post-ulation. Sorry 😆. We had an FNG, Kirk Taylor, now Baywatch thanks to his Coast Guard experience. Welcome Baywatch!
