Howdy all you #HIMs!

Happy New Year – I hope the holiday season was restful & filled with quality time with your loved ones.

F3 began in Charlotte circa 2011; a group of guys came out for fitness, but soon found something more powerful and lasting: fellowship and an urge to improve the people and community around them. This is where F3 was born, and they set out on a mission to expand and accelerate other men all across the country.

11 years ago, to the day (01.04), a few #Redwoods made the trek up I-77 (or I-85) from Charlotte to plant F3 Winston Salem. The 2 founders, Dredd & OBT, led a beatdown with over 50 guys in attendance.  Many of those guys are still here today posting regularly and pushing the next generation of men. I have reflected on why that is the case… and it boils down to the fact that people do not show up to F3 for themselves, but rather they show up in the early gloom for the man standing beside each one of them.

Whether you have posted to 1 or 100 workouts, or if it is your first time, you are invited to join us in celebrating 11 years of getting in the best shape, doing ridiculously crazy things, and true friendships. These things if I were to guess had a positive impact on you, and what better way to celebrate than donning the new winter gear, getting out and moving, and having a few laughs (with coffee) along the way?

• Hanes Park aka #ImpossibleSituation will play host to this special convergence, just as it did 11 years ago, this Saturday (01.04.25).
• Festivities begin at 0615 with a 4ish mile EC run
• Beatdown will commence at 0700 with a plethora of Q’s who have jumped right into the goodness of F3 within the last year or so:
  • Frank & Beans (James Wise) – Conspiracy Site Q
  • Rubber Ducky (Nate Chaney) – Iron Throne Site Q
  • Draftee (Joshua Chancey) – Total Badass Mistletoe, Ragnar, Q of all 20 locations in 2024, extraordinaire
  • Root Canal (Jeff Leal) – Dash WIB Site Q and just really likes the number 11

Coffeeteria will follow at 0800 hosted by our very own Blue Steel (Doug Williams) and his wonderful coffee cart. Coffeeteria will be held inside in the lobby at 500 West 5th Street. Street parking is on 5th and Spruce St.
