Workbench asked YHC to Q a few weeks back, looking to trade for a Flatline Q. If it wasn’t for the Q duties this morning, the 33 degree rain definitely would have made the fartsack extremely tempting. YHC may have been hoping that no one would post so a few more hours of sleep could be head… but the Duck and Zima were already there upon arrival. Subfloor rolled in and our quartet was set for a pretty solid start to the day – especially considering the weather. YHC was thankful for the shelter, the original plan of running laps was modified with bear crawl and lunges, and some exercises were modified to use benches instead of rocks. It went a little something like this.
The challenge from YHC this year has been dubbed “20×25”, with 20 sets of 25 reps. There will be at least 10 throughout the year. There will be a cool prize for those who attend 3 or more this year. This is the second iteration.

NMM:
- Overall, we stayed dry – much to Ducky’s chagrin, and we received a sufficient beatdown.
- It was a special morning… not because it was 33 and raining… but because YHC provided music AND cardboard!
- 500 Reps were done today – which included 50 Burpees, 100WWIIs, 100 Squatty Pottys, 150 merkins, and lots of bear crawl and lunge walking!
- The order of operations was not too well thought out, especially in the first exercise list, but that only added to the fun!
- Zima asked why YHC was the way he was… to which Ducky said “He was bullied as a kid” – actually that is true, so maybe it is why?? Any psychiatrist PAX among us??
- Much discussion spent on changes to G&A rates and its impact to colleges.
- Much discussion on NIL killing college sports.
- Subfloor made YHC laugh a few times, always has some great commentary; which he provided today while making the reps look easy
- Ducky has a clean bill of health, best cholesterol level in years! I guess the F3 diet really does work!!
Thanks for the keys Workbench. It was an honor to lead such fine men who CHOSE to be there – unlike YHC who “had” to be there. In the end, I was glad to Q in 33 degree rain! When will the next 20×25 be???!
