Exactly 11 years ago, YHC wanted a weekday bootcamp workout nearer to his (then) house in Waterford. So, we started Village Idiocy on February 10, 2014. We have had many ups and downs, including fighting the power that is Deputy Dawg for the right to actually get a workout outside at the YMCA. We are also growing older together as mentioned during COT this morning. But before that, we partied like it’s 2014 with some of the Billboard Top 100 biggest hits of 11 years ago. YHC got a chance to connect with @BlindDate while we shivered in the wind and waited for the rest of the pax to show up. We were eventually joined by 4 others during warm-o-rama (@DQ thought he missed the burpees but did catch them for round 2). We got going on the Thang Part One and about midway through our group was made complete by @SpicoliOnSpicoliTime.
There was enough counting in this workout to keep the #mumblechatter down to a dull roar. But some pax weren’t too happy with the shoulder work Dips and Derkins right after the Merkinfest. But then they didn’t like the Lt Dans Going to Eleven either. #HardToPlease.
