QIC: Closer

PAX: The Singing Cowboy, Airbag, Manscape, Transcript, Lucky Charms, FNG Dr Drapes, Interference (Mary & COT) and Closer

I always lean of recent events to inspire my Qs. Here are three person anecdotes.

1. For Spring Break the Closer family traveled to Atlanta to be the best tourists we could be. We visited many museums, sporting venues, bike paths and other attractions. The puppet museum was a great place to see Big Bird and all the Sesame Street friends. The aquarium was large and beluga whales were a highlight, as well as seeing the typically timid Octopus swim around a whole lot. The Cyclorama was expansive. Finally Centennial Park was a great place to visit as we all imagined being Olympic athletes as we admired the Olympic rings.
2. While playing soccer with the kids on Sunday and making an amazing play (of course) I collapsed to the ground with a sprained ankle. As a result I hobbled in the Q circle

Prayed for Lucky Charms girlfriend as she recovers from surgery, my M dealing with pain. Closed thanking God for F3 and the fellowship provided. Asked God to help us live into His Grace, Truth and Power.

The Singing Cowboy didn’t recognize Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam. I think I saw a tear from Airbags eye. He was searching for his flannel shirt to dry his eyes.

Transcript and our FNG were sharing war storied about ACL tears. Glad we had no new injuries this morning.

Mr. Boombastic would make for a great F3 nickname

Speaking of that. We had an FNG invited by Transcript. His new neighbor Chris Hutchins joined and was a beast. He is a former college baseball player who now works for a company dealing with windows. Hence the nickname Dr. Drapes. Welcome and come on back to the gloom soon.

Interference got in a bunch of miles this morning and timed it perfectly to join us for Mary and COT

Manscape was way too loud, as per usual!
