QIC: Huckleberry

PAX: Starfish, Wahoo, root canal, frank and beans, subfloor, superfly, boomerang, tonka, ziggy, cruiser, drip, madoff, nelly, adobe, blind date, workbench
17 pax showed up for a Huckleberry Q at Parliament. One was angry about the “no running” rule and took off on the 4 mile loop (Workbench). 16 stayed behind to see what non running, probably just stretching workout we would do.
0530 – mission statement was crushed to perfection.
warm o rama – SSH, Abe V, Imperial Walkers, Michael Phelps all IC
grab a block and carry it to the football field (yes drip, there is a football field. no drip, I am not kidding. I am not sure why you havent been there.) Wahoo joked that we should walk with out block all the way there and then just turn around and walk back. what a cruel idea…..I like it….but not for today.
the football field was well mowed and had fresh lines painted – that’s how you know your Q loves you. I bet Turnover used an old, liter filled parking lot with beat up parking spaces at Flatline. We will find out when he posts his BB in a few weeks………
line up on one sideline of the field. I discussed that today we would celebrate both my favorite number and cruisers birthday (turning 40). what’s my favorite number…no root it is not 11….100 of course. nice round number.
on one line, perform 40 reps of exercise 1. one arm farmers carry block across football field. at opposite end, perform 40 reps of exercise 1. opposite arm farmers carry back across field. 10 reps of exercise 1. one arm farmers carry…..10 reps….one arm farmers carry. thats 100 reps. move on to exercise 2…….continue till time. exercises were:

- Merkins
- Mountain Climbers
- OHP
- Goblet Squat
- H2H
- Curl
- Bonnie Blair
- Low Flutter
- Blockee
610 – carry block back to start. circle up for mary/hucks 3 merkins…..we did not have time. many pax were upset…maybe even saw some tears.
prayers – boomerang had a request to help remove his nephews cerebral region of the depths of an internal cave – you had to be there. YHC took us out.

Wahoo found the farmers carry to add up. Root mentioned calling in sick due to inability to hold an instrument
starfish needs a drug test. i asked what he was on but he would not tell – that HIM was out in front and no one could catch up.
cruiser was doing cruiser things and acting 25. probably not even tired. what a jerk.
everyone got after it and i appreciated the chance to lead. there were probably lots of MC that I didnt hear – so please add it in!
