CoT
- @Splash and @Spam-a-lot are turning 50! Celebration to be held at the Tasting Room w/more info to come!
- @H.O.G. happy to report that his son’s scans came back normal and he even brought bags of cookies as a thank you to the PAX for the prayers over the past few weeks.
- If you see PAX registered for IPC who are not submitting scores, EH them to do so! For any PAX not currently registered, it’s not too late do so: https://f3greenwood.com/ironpax-form/
- YHC took us out giving thanks for the cooler weather, and for @H.O.G.s good news. Also gave thanks for the ability to post and for the positive and encouraging attitudes this morning. Asked that we may continue that mantra into our day and shine a light upon those around us.
- @DramaQueen will be Qing a make-up / redo date for IPC Week 1 this Friday (09/06) at #Parliament AO at 0530. PAX will gather in the parking lot and mosey down to the field to complete it.
NMM
- 23 PAX posted for this killer beatdown… Totaling 1.3 miles travelled, with 150 Burpees, 150 Bonnie Blairs, 150 Big Boys, 150 yards of Broadjumps, and 150 yards of Bearcrawls.
- Ages ranged from 13-59
- Times ranged from 20:15 to 29:57.
- Every single PAX pushed it, pushed each other, and finished strong.
- We took the long way around the school opting for the safer, well lit route. That “safety” came under scrutiny when there was a car who refused to stop for our lively gang as we ran by.
- #TClaps to @Zima for helping YHC setup yesterday (and @Spam for offering) getting the lines measured and painted. He met us down there and also brought out some much needed lights this morning as well.
- Most PAX had watched the video, and after going through it before launching, but we discussed before launching which helped clear up some confusion on 10 SINGLE count Bonnie Blairs.
- @H.O.G. demanded tunes for the morning, and most PAX were surprised YHC actually brought some… Playlist of some of YHC’s favorite workout songs is below.
- Other than hollering out to make sure those knees get down to the ground on the Bonnie Blairs and clapping for the burpees, YHC saw lots of good form. It was also dark though.
- @Litterbox was our fastest at 20:15, with an injured @Huckleberry close behind (you read that right, he’s at about 70% with a pulled back muscle).
- Luckily, @Huckleberry thought to keep count on his watch while waiting for YHC to finish and then struggle to unlock his phone through the wet grass covered fingers. Next time to set it up to show on the lock screen… #Cobains on that brief issue, but duly noted!
- Big #TCLAPS to @Bookworm, our #WarBaby… what were you doing when you were 13 years old??
- And Big #TCLAPS to @RootCanal, our #WarDaddy… he pushes it every week, but still… I know who I want to be when I grow up! Tip of the cap to all the #Respects really.
- YHC saw an amazing site to close out the IPC beatdown as a dozen or so PAX joined in with the 6 to finish that 30yard bearcrawl and cross the finish line just under the 30 minute mark. Pain was evident, and the rally to push through was inspiring.
Don’t forget to submit your times, and those PAX who were there but not yet registered… might as well do it! A pleasure to be amongst you all this morning. Thanks for the push everyone! Strong work!

Speaking as the 6 in question…appreciate all you guys for the push/pull. That last bear crawl sucked. Clearly would not have finished sub-30 without you guys. This morning was what F3 is all about. Now if I could bend over and pick up my keys that I dropped…….
