IPC Week 4 – Sugar’s Pick Your Poison at Hells Bells

The 4th and Final week of #IPC 2019 was a fun one! YHC incorrectly called it “Sugar is the New Poison” in the group “udpate” email sent out on Monday… #Cobains x 2. It went a little something like:
The Thang – “Sugar’s Pick Your Poison”
- 100 combined reps, choice of Merkins AND/OR Squats
- 200 yard block carry (100 yards out and back)
- 100 combined reps, choice of BonnieBlairs AND/OR KB Swings
- 200 yard block carry (100 yards out and back)
- 100 combined reps, choice of Step Lunges AND/OR Squat Thrusters
- 200 yard block carry (100 yards out and back)
- REPEATO EVERYTHING x3

- Prayers for @LittleHouse, who’s 3 year old son is undergoing treatment for Lukemia
- Continued prayers for John’s family whom @Fender knows through his work with Arts for Life. John passed away this past week, and @Fender shared a heartbreaking story about how John loved the song “What a Wonderful World” and how it would bring John peace when he was in pain, sometimes it was the only thing.
- YHC took us out lifting up the prayer requests.

- Glad to report that no injuries occurred this morning and all PAX got through the beatdown successfully,

- YHC arrive a little late and started after the primary group to do some extra stretching and warm-up.
- @Fender flew the entire beatdown, giving YHC a goal of trying to catch up with him, never did happen. He’s been a strong contender through every week, #TCLAPS on making us look good!
- @Schneider has been going through IPC with a bad ankle this whole time. #TClaps on persevering through all 4 rounds!
- @DramaQueen earned his #Respect today, I want to be like him when I grow up! #TClaps on doing all 4 rounds, sir!
- YHC’s legs gave out while going through @DramaQueen’s last round with him… literally fell over!
- @LittleHouse is a recent FNG, named because he went to App, and App just beat UNC in the LittleHouse? @Whirly gave him the name… the other option was “Popcorn” because his last name is Sutton (no relation to @Mutton).
- @LittleHouse looks like a fine addition to the Dash PAX, he serves with the Army National Guard, and YHC can see him leading some bootcamps in the near future. Looking forward to more workouts with him!
- @SourMash had to leave early, but he was strong as he’s ever been. Big #TClaps to him for modifying as necessary and getting through the #IPC.
- YHC would like to see some aspects of #IPC continue in the Dash… specifically the camaraderie, dedication and planning involved. The increased difficulty for beatdowns is nice to some extent, but maybe just for a singular option per week? In either case, it’s been a pleasure participating with the 35 PAX from @F3WinstonSalem who signed up. Big #TCLAPS to @Spamalot for calling it out and getting us all to sign up.
