Multiple Examples of Just Two Speeds

Eight other pax posted to YHC’s Q for #Redline this first day of October. They were either (a) interested to see who actually is the best looking Q in all the Dash Pax, or (b) well aware that YHC holds that title and posted anyway.
THANG:
Only two speeds — Easy is defined as conversational pace, slower than 10K pace, relaxed. Hard is defined as faster than 5K pace but not a sprint, more like your kick at the end of a long run.
Easy run to track and once around at easy pace (no one passed YHC) and stop at sign by tennis center for the following instructions:
Lap 1 — easy
Lap 2 — hard straightaways, easy curves
Lap 3 — hard for first 200 meters, easy for last 200 meters
Laps 4-5 — hard for first 300 meters, easy for last 500 meters
Lap 6 — hard
Lap 7 — easy, then alternate hard/easy until 05:57
One lap counterclockwise around the park, with easy pace except for three hard sections — (a) from curve by old Mock Orange to intersection with NW Blvd, (b) from tunnel just past gyms to intersection with Hawthorne, and (c) from intersection of Glade and Hawthorne up hill to corner of Glade and Sunset. Easy circle back for the six.

- Palin’s M had a good ultrasound at 20 weeks of her pregnancy. Palin knows and revealed the sex, but I will just speculate that the baby has a full beard already.
- Prayers for Zuck’s father as he recovers from surgery.
- Prayers for Peacemaker’s M who is scheduled for her 5th round of chemotherapy out of six, today.
- Update/prayers/praise for how Boo Boo’s BIL, Keith Vest, is doing. Keep praying for that family and Keith.
- YHC took us out.
NMM
- Calendar says it is Oct 1; temp and humidity say July 27.
- There were a couple of times when I was running my hard portion, but I could barely catch a couple of pax who were running their easy portion.
- Good to catch up with Peacemaker, Boo Boo, and Manscape a little.
- Every time YHC attends #Redline, I see Hitman, and he always works hard.
- Good to see Wink and Sac actually running at a slow, easy pace a couple of times, but those guys pushed it on the hard segments.
- Palin has become a strong runner. Enjoy it before the 2.0 arrives and messes up your sleep.
- Glazer ran in alone and rode out with Peacemaker.
- The track was busy this morning with three other sets of folks and at least six other runners total. Plus we saw a few more as we circumnavigated the park.
- Everyone got in at least 4 miles in about 42 minutes.
This was hard enough for me — glad that you all let an old, slow guy lead from time to time — hope you made it suck for yourselves.
