8 Stations of Fun

PAX: Drama Queen, Gucci, Little House, SGT Schultz, Sixty Minutes, Sour Mash
A jolly six PAX gathered on a cool but pleasant morning at Southwest Elementary School for another session of Parliament. Gucci and Sixty Minutes each got in a good extra credit run prior to 0530.
WARMARAMA: SSHs, Hillbillies (Little House thought we were talking about him!), Arm Swirly Things forward and reverse, Seal Claps, Overhead Claps, Whirlies with a Clap, Abe Vigodas, standing hamstring stretches, seated groin stretch, bent leg body twists
THE THANG: A slow mosey over to the driveway on the left side of the school near the dumpsters, where YHC had pre-positioned eight pain stations in a rectangular formation (each station approximately 15 yards apart from the other), to wit:
- Upright Rows (equipped with cinder blocks)
- Squats (equipped with cinder blocks)
- Curls (equipped with cinder blocks)
- Crunchy Frogs
- Monkey Humpers
- Merkins
- Overhead Presses (equipped with cinder blocks)
- Skull Crushers (equipped with cinder blocks)
The PAX paired off into buddy teams (to have someone to talk to), with each pair starting at a different station. Perform 20 reps of the exercise at the station (with a cinder block, if applicable), and then bear crawl, lunge walk or toy soldier walk (whatever you choose to do) to the next station 15 yards away. Continue going round and round from station to station, performing 20 reps at each station, until 0610. We all went around the rectangle 4 times.
At 0610 we returned the cinder blocks to their storage area and moseyed back to the parking lot for MARY.
MARY: Performed by committee, with Gucci calling out American Hammers, Little House calling out flutter kicks, and Drama Queen calling out Freddie Mercuries.

- Prayers for a the family of a young Soldier in Gucci’s National Guard unit who was murdered over the weekend. This Soldier has answered his final roll call in Heaven.
