A perfectly-timed lull in the rain awaited the 17ish pax that gathered at Hanes Park for the first Tractors and OGs runs of 2020.  All pax, both Tractors & OGs, were introduced to Walker Street, a sneaky hill running parallel to Hawthorne.  OGs also enjoyed a detour that resulted in a fun run up Feinmore.

Tractors:  4.7 miles; 267 feet elevation gain; https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/2838960250

OGs:  6.3 miles; 397 feet elevation gain; https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/2838956854

  • Prayers for those who wish they could be out with us but are unable to.

YHC took us out with prayers of thanks to the SkyQ for the existence of F3 and motivation to continue to reach out to others.

Moleskin:

– Walker and Feinmore left an impression.  Mission accomplished.  Ardmore has a number of hills that are off the beaten track; most people don’t even drive up them.  Beverly offered up high praise, something to the effect of the routes being “as much fun as one of your (YHC’s) bootcamps.”

-YHC left with a large group of OGs; one portion, including Balco, Wink, Beverly, Bueller?, and Palin, quickly left us in the dust once we got up Warrick.  The remainder of us, including Lawn Boy, the H.O.G., and Pert Plus stayed together throughout.

-YHC encouraged the group to take it down to a lower gear at the bottom of Knollwood, knowing what was coming with Walker and Feinmore.

-Good to see Butter this morning.  Clarification:  good to see him leaving YHC in the dust and good to see him when it was all over.

-After asking whether the route was counterclockwise, Thor decided to run the route both ways, clockwise and counterclockwise.

Thanks for the keys, Balco.  Dropped them on Feinmore; YHC will rappel down there later today to retrieve.

Uhhh, Mr Q? May I offer a correction to the Tractors mileage listed in the BB? I ran the route on MMR and got 4.60 miles. The original route map that was published showed about7.3 km which is roughly 4.5-4.6 miles.

Felt hillier than the 274 feet on MMR.

Great run with Butter. Thx for the sucky route.

You are, unsurprisingly, correct. The record has been updated.
