Imagine this…

The Sun is just starting to come up, it’s rising on the clouds looking like the sky is on fire, yet its snowing and the air is brisk. It almost sounds like a dream. Except its not…it is exactly what happened this past weekend at WeFoCo’s Premier Saturday beatdown, Charlie Foxtrot.

YHC is glad to report that the Pax’s retinas were not burned out because they stared off into the sunrise for too long.

YHC is glad to report that the Pax’s arms, glutes, hams, core, and backs were burned out from performing exercises called by YHC.

Here is a recount of some of the ridiculous things that occurred, all of which are entirely factual:

The THANG

The Goal – Make it to the covered awning with brick walls and brick half walls at the top of the bus parking lot….without running. What?!?

AT EXACTLY THE 29th MINUTE OF THE WORKOUT ON THE 29th DAY OF FEBRUARY, THE PAX PERFORMED EXACTLY 29 BURPEES. This turned out to be everyone’s favorite, a real crowd pleaser, specially since this seemed to be in the middle of the Pax’s Inchworm Merkin travel cycle.

Upon reaching the covered awning at the brick pylon and half walls at the top of the bus lot the Pax were treated to some leg warmers:

Squats in cadence

Monkey Humpers in cadence

Speed Skaters in cadence….but more OYO

Wall Sits with pax called 10 counts

Donkey Kicks OYO

Calf Raises in cadence

Plank Walk Ups and Hold on half walls in cadence

GOAL ACHIEVED!!!!

 

The Pax then returned to launch in a very similar fashion to that in which they arrived at the awning. Almost arriving home at launch the Pax alerted to YHC that a Gang Mosey’ing in our direction were approaching swiftly from the rear. YHC knew the only proper and courteous thing to do was to present the Gang with a proper F3 Solute; Monkey Humpers in Cadence and a “Good Morning!”

The Pax then returned to launch for some Modified #STEINL Mary!!

Announcements/Prayer Requests

CONVERGENCE This Saturday March 7th at 0700. Jamison Park off of Meadowlark aka #Mayhem’s New Launch point. Whirly and Zima are on deck to Q. Bring gloves, as many FNGs as possible, and the best mumblechatter you can think of.

YHC is feeling pretty heavy when it comes to his injuries limiting. Seems like with every step forward there is a self inflicted step back. Sprinkle in a little stress and hardship and you have prime conditions for the #Queen to get wildly out of control. This is the current status, and YHC asked the Pax for help with tips and accountability.

Think about a fellow PAX you haven’t seen post in a little bit, if you have his contact, reach out and invite them to the Convergence.

 

 

Really looking forward to feeling strong again with you guys out in the gloom. #Cobains for the late backblast. Feels like YHC has no time for anything else besides work, eating, sleeping, and breathing sometimes. Looking forward to seeing you guys at the convergence.
