Been a little bit since YHC’s last Q at the Premier Wednesday Workout, #Conspiracy.  While I’m sure a fine, fine “beatdown” was planned at the hands, nay “Overhead Snaps in cadence!”, of BAM at #Mayhem, YHC needed to bring a little bit of the heat.  Well, Ole Mother Nature took care of that by dropping a #SwampBlanket on Hanes Park for all the PAX to enjoy.  #ExtremeMoistness was in the air and set the stage for our adventure.

NOTE: YHC almost missed said Q due to alarm clock issues. Luckily my backup got me out of bed, otherwise the PAX would have become lost and possibly driven to #Mayhem.  Totally gross.

***First order of business? Designate a timekeeper.  I believe in our group’s ability to keep each other accountable which is why I don’t keep time, or own a watch.  Mutton was my man and we got things rollin’.

  • Cherry Pie asked for prayers for Tim Peller, Lead Pastor for the Redeemer. As CP stated, a true leader in the faith community.  Tim Peller has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
  • Mutton had a message of thanks in having visited his mother for the first time in 4 months. That’s great news and no doubt needed by all of our loved ones.
  • Boo Boo showed up at COT with his dog (YHC named Pic-a-nic Basket). He had been tabatta-ing in the park and even did his rendition of his favorite Tik Tok video.  It was amazing and horrifying all at the same time. #DontQuitYourDayJob

 

 

YHC took us out with a moment of silence for those who have died due to COVID and those who are currently battling this disease.  I offered thanks for our group and the accountability that comes with it; for peace in our community and each of us to be a light for our families and each other.
