The Toot Swap
QIC: Lamb Chop
Date: 7/29/2020
PAX: Boo Boo, Picnic Basket, Red Barron, Mutton, Van Gogh, Razzie, Truck Stop, Little Piggy, Cheese Steak
It was a hot sweaty morning where 8 eager PAX gathered for a classic Root Canal beat down. Little did they know that Dr. Toot had skipped town and handed the keys to his young protege. At the anointed time, Lamb Chop announced that the Toot beat down was canceled and a new sheriff would handle the proceedings.
Lamb Chop led us through a warm up of 15 SSH, 10 Arm Circles forward and back, 10 Abe Vigodas, and 10 Whirlies.
Then it was time for the fun to begin. After a quick jaunt around the track, the PAX partnered up (social distanced mind you) to complete a modified Dora.
100 Pull Ups, 200 Merkins, 300 LBCs. First partner stayed down at the base of the shelter and did squats while partner 2 ran up the hill to the pull up bar and completed 10 pull ups. Partner 2 then relieved partner 1 from squats and flip flopped until 100 combined pull ups were achieved. Then merkins commenced with one partner running up to touch the pull up bar while partner 2 cranked out as many merkins as possible. You know the rest of the story. It was about this time that a cranky Van Gogh began to complain that the Q had skipped a step and therefore needed to do more squats so everyone would be equal. But as the saying in retail goes, the Q is always right, therefore the Van Gogh was oh so wrong. With an every increasingly complaining Van Gogh getting more and more upset as he fell further and further behind the Q in reps (maybe you can blame your partner next time?) the rest of the PAX finished their Dora. The Q Omaha’d to the next location so as not to hear any more grumblings from Van Gogh.
The PAX mosied over to the Intimidator. At the bottom, the PAX completed 20 burpees OYO then ventured to the next stop sign for 15 burpees, then to the next for 10 burpees, then to the last at the top for 5. Shout out to Razzie for hanging back with the Q who was bringing up the rear. I know you would have been leading the group but you had pity on my poor soul and how slowly I was moving up the Intimidator and stuck with me until the end.
Then we mosied back to start for a quick few minutes of Mary. Mutton lead the Mutton Crunch (original), Truck Stop led Heels to Heaven, and Van Gogh finished it out with American Hammer (what he wishes his name was).
Strong work from strong men!

Praise for Lamb Chops sisters baby! Praise for Truck Stop back at work after a long furlough. Shmed Fest end of August.

It was maybe the most humid morning in the history of man kind. Van Gogh really wasn’t that bad, he just likes to give me a hard time and because I can’t compare during the workout, I must hid behind this screen anonymously and dish it back at him! I partnered up with Red Barron for Dora, but half way through I found out that Truck Stop had conveniently ditched Razzie for Red Barron. Come on Truck Stop, Razzie was only like 2 paces behind Red Barron. How are you going to do him like that?
Thanks for the keys Toot
