Burgess in VA 1619 Aka “Harden Inspiration”

YHC was inspired by this day in history, when Governor George Yeardley of VA assembled elected burgesses to hold the nation’s first elected assembly, and ending the martial law era.
We needed no military intervention for this workout, the PAX took it head on.
YHC looks at previous backblasts to get inspiration for workouts, and could have sworn I saw a workout with “block webbs” under a Harden workout. Apparently that back blast has been taken down now as YHC cannot currently find it. As it turns out, block webbs are the equivalent of what Van Gogh calls “man-makers”. Because the PAX were not particularly excited about this at the commencement of the exercise, we could all now invoke Harden’s name as responsible. Good thing he showed up and could deny culpability.

Harden was picking when we ran out of time (so essentially a body destroyer)
Mash: Was enthralled with the workout and mentioned he would be back as soon as possible. He enjoyed the music that YHC brought as well, which may have inspired such a valiant showing from the young chap.
Sixty: Because I know 60 loves burpees, we intensified it with man-makers (thanks Van Gogh), which also may be the reason I may never Q again at distillery. Sixty worked well through the sets, even going above and beyond on the body destroyer at his discretion. In all seriousness, did extra reps on several sets just because he can. I hope the swing is still in tact today.
Harden: Was puzzled from the beginning of the workout when I began mentioning portions were his creation in previous back blasts. He asked YHC to produce picture evidence, which hopefully (with help from other Pax) can be provided. Harden mentioned we may only get to “BUR” in the workout progression, which was a much needed mid-stream OMAHA to speed things up a bit after the hearty start of block webbs.
Schneider: Came ready to work today, there before the Q but no EC tun he mentioned, just Mondays. Schneider pushed through each station well, and partnered with Harden throughout.
