A great showing at Bells and Whistles!! Biggest group I have Q’ed in a while. Amazing work done before hand with a brisk 2 mile ruck by 9 PAX to get them ready for the heavy beatdown that was to come.
With the announcement of the Q’s name and welcoming everyone to the AO, it pretty much went down hill after it was announced that there was an FNG there. The Q could not recite the alphabet if he tried much less the mission statement. So he decided to paraphrase (thanks to something resembling writers block). After that awkwardness, we warmed up for a little bit.

- Abe Vigodas
- Worley w/ a Clap
- Arm Circle Things both Forward/Backwards
And with 20 ppl present, the Q wasted no time to explain the workout:
In the parking lot (audibled from using the Tennis Courts), we were going to us the space like a track while going around the center median.
- 4 rounds of:
- 20 Goblet Squats (with weight)
- Walk lap while holding weight above your head (straight arm) with your RIGHT ARM
- Walk 2nd lap while holding weight above your head with your LEFT ARM
- If you had to lower, set down or rest your weight on your shoulder…must stop and do 20 WW2 for penalty. Then pick up where you left off to complete lap.
- Side Bends (with weight) 10 each side
- WW2s till the 6 finished.
After the 6 caught up (which was the Q), the next exercise was announced:
- 3 rounds of:
- Goblet Lunges 10 each leg
- Walk a lap while holding weight in the High Pull position (touching chin with elbows out).
- If you had to lower, set down or rest your weight on your shoulder…must stop and Jail Break a full lap back to your weight for penalty. Then pick up where you left off to complete lap.
- Single Arm High Pulls 10 each arm
- FAST MOSEY till 6 finished
With only 6 minutes left in the workout, the Q had everyone partner up to complete a close out exercise.
- One partner takes a lap while Farmer’s Carrying their weight in their RIGHT HAND and then does another lap with the LEFT HAND
- Other partner planks till relieved.
- Each partner completes their walking laps.
- (enough time was left to have everyone walk an additional lap and their partners plank again)
This was an enjoyable group of men and I could hear chatter going the whole time since it was not endurance based. However, since the Q was struggling to keep up and not penalize himself every round, I did not hear much of what was said. :/ (Request for PAX to post any MC they remember)
Announced Alcatraz is coming and will be up and going on 1/30/2021!
Q took everyone out with prayer.
Singing Cowboy, thanks for allowing me to Q…put me back on that schedule, I am ready to go again.
