WIB has been missing from YHC’s life for a few weeks, but a long-rescheduled Q alleviated that void today.  YHC ran in after dropping off Weinkes at a few Ardmore-area churches within reasonable running distance of one another.  This was a re-run of a WIB Q from a few years ago that YHC enjoyed.  Cherry Pie wasn’t at that Q, so his layaway ticket was honored.

The Thang:

Stations at Ardmore UMC, Ardmore Moravian, and Ardmore Baptist, “the big three”.  Complete first exercise x 5 at each on the first lap; complete second and first exercise x 10 on the second lap; complete third, second, and first exercise x 15 on the third lap; complete all exercises x 20 on the fourth lap.

Ardmore UMC:  Pullups, Russian Deadlifts, Low Dollies, Mountain Climbers

Ardmore Moravian:  Derkins, Standups, Pulse Ups, SSHs

Ardmore Baptist:  Burpees, Lunges, Midwife Crunch, Donkey Kicks

Repeato until time.

Announcements:

  • Cherry Pie has Q at Conspiracy next Wednesday, 3/17. He called it a “convergence” but was adapting the term for other meanings.  He is reaching out to some dudes who haven’t been out of the woodwork for a while.  Irish treats (potatoes) will be provided to all pax that post.

 CoT:

  • Prayers for all those recovering from Covid-19.
  • YHC took us out.

Moleskin:

  • The sounds of spring echoed through the big oaks of Ardmore this morning.
  • A search party (Palin) was sent out for Cherry Pie as he was missing at CoT. He claimed to have been chasing the blazing H.O.G. and Honey Badger who showed up on time.  #GettingOld(er)
  • O.G. had new, flashy gloves.
  • Did you all read Honey Badger’s Flatline backblast? If not, don’t.  A helpdesk ticket is in with the backblast admin to have it stricken from the record.
  • BooBooBustAMove praised the preparation of the Q. CP suggested the bar still needed to be raised higher.
  • Palin had some great one-liners today. YHC tossed out the idea of miccing him up and transcribing whatever he said but was reminded by others that Zima had already performed that trick.  Still would be entertaining.
  • YHC was on the lookout for Workbench after a tipoff from Huckleberry. Glad to see WB becoming familiar with the buffet of Dash AOs.
  • Great to see Chessesteak out on a Thursday to have a chance to catch up briefly with him.
  • Drip dropped YHC a completely unexpected encouraging note post-workout.
