Halfway to the AO this morning I realized I forgot my speaker. I pulled into the parking lot around 0522 with no time to turn around and only a small glimmer of hope that no one would join me and my error would go unnoticed. I would also get to climb back in bed…BUT Starfish rolled in around 0527 and Lace not too long thereafter. I flipped on the lights on the tennis courts and we set up on the far side for the thang.

Good fellowhip with these two dudes this AM. The humidity was no joke, and the lack of a breeze made it all the worse. Some solid sweat puddles were forming by 0615.
We discussed a range of things, but the big takeaway from the morning was the desire to establish Leinbach Park as the permanent meeting place for the Double Dutch AO. The tennis court with the lights, the running track, the shelter fits about 6 when it rains, and there’s opportunities to mix it up a little bit and use the playgroud equipment if someone so chooses. After posing it on Slack, there seems to be enough collective support for the change.
Starfish is going to make a call this afternoon about GreeNest this week. If nobody can help, we are likely going to have to cancel…if you’re free Saturday morning please give him a shout!
