16 pax chose WeFoCo today.  5 pax went for a run. 11 Pax stuck around for some #TotalRequestLive at Parliament.

The Thang

• Grab a block and circle up.
• The idea was to repeat three different exercises for a set amount of reps each, repeating this pattern during the length of a song.  For example, do curls, LBC’s and mountain climbers 25 each and repeat until song is over.
• In keeping with request theme, pax chose the exercises from various categories:  Chest, Tricep, Bicep, Abs, Cardio, etc.  The Q chose the number of reps
• The final round was deconstructed burpees (merkins, cobra humpers, jump squats), and burpees. We did 5 each.

Announcements/Prayer Concerns

• Shmedfest – this weekend!  There are commitments of $30/pax for each Pax showing up to the 2am workout.  Great time, great
• Double dip opportunity for Goofy Q this week as YHC also has the reins at TRQ
• Prayers for @Boomerang and family who has lost his sister
• Prayers for @Starfish’s mom who has entered memory care at Arbor Acres.

NMM

• YHC put a call out yesterday for pax to request songs.
• Tclaps to @DQ who was the first in and suggested John Prine – excellent choice.  @Starfish chose a YHC fav, Bruce Springsteen
• YHC did not listen to Prine until after he passed last year, and his music became a slight obsession during the year.  If you don’t know his music, I highly recommend.
• This choice inspired me to choose other song writers I have enjoyed over the years – (play list below)
• It was pointed out by @Starfish beat down was more “TotalSuggestionLive” as YHC sought control it anyway!
• Great turnout and good enthusiasm this AM – we all knew which songs that DQ liked as he would announce his approval.  @Starfish even sang along to a few!
• Awesome to see @Frostbite – been too long and great to be with you!  Thanks for driving in from downtown!
• There was some surprise that Eminem made the list – (yes I went through this short, weird and angry period that I listened to some rap)
• Thanks to @Ziggy for the keys.  I left them in the lunchroom
