Only a little Lollygagging at TIT

After my slow mosey to Iron Throne, found Crash and Schlitz waiting for me. Thought it was gonna be just the “pair of three” and then Cherry Pie came running out the gloom. We didn’t want to be lollygagging so we jumped right into Warmarama: SSH, Imp Walkers, Copperhead squats, Abe V, Whirlies, Y-flies (Cherry Pie too!), but he wouldn’t be convinced that Mike Phelps is a great shoulder warmup, so he got in some burpees. Then to the basketball court for Merkin Madness: start on end line with 10 merkins, bear crawl to midcourt for 9 merkins, bear crawl back to end line for 8, etc, back and forth down to one merkin on the midcourt line. Then Lunge Lunacy: same idea with jump squats and lunge walking back and forth to far end line, finishing up with one jump squat at far end of the court. Drip, you were missed. Schlitz thought you would like that part of our workout and I told him you did when I did it there before.
Then to playground for doublets: 4 rounds of 10 reps each of pull-ups/sit-ups, then merkins/squatty potties, then to blocks. Did 4 sets of 5 blockees and 15 curls, then 10 block swings, then time for Mary!
Back to start for low flutter, Mutton crunch, box cutters, LBC’s, and Huck’s tempo merkins. Done and very sweaty 🥵
Prayers offered being thankful for ability to workout together, for CP’s Dad starting chemo this week, my Mom getting better after knee replacement, for help with remembering that we don’t know what is in other people’s hearts when we interact with them, and for helping us to help others and be good examples in our community.
This bunch crushed my beatdown, but decided it was sufficient with only a little bit of lollygagging. Enjoyed the morning with these HIM’s. Schlitz, I think the keys fell out of my pocket somewhere near the squatty potties! 😅
