September is National Suicide Prevention Month (CDC). Some of you know that YHC’s 17-year-old happy-go-lucky nephew died on Sept 5, 2021, from suicide. It was the darkest day of YHC family’s life and we have been fighting for light since. #27 Strong, Emerson’s football number at Reagan, has become a family mantra to keep putting one step in front of the other. Will you consider joining YHC at a Redline “Special Edition” this Tuesday, Sept 5 to exercise for number #27 against the third leading cause of death in NC for persons aged 10-18? The special edition means that Redline will offer an alternative to include those who only deem boot camp a real form of exercise #runningsucks. A running option will be also be available for runners who prefer to ignore boot camps and maintain soccer arms.

Running Option 1 (Emer was 17yo and wore #27)
1700 m Warm-Up on the track (4.1 laps)
300 m Mosey (walk/slow jog)(basically end at 5 full laps)
2700 m (6.75 laps)
2x700 (200 recovery in between)
200’s (100 recovery in between) until 6:15

2 Pax for Option 2 – Greenspan, Burns

Running Option 2 (At least 1 partner recommended)

27 laps (13.5 laps / partner) in 45 minutes or 1 lap every 1 minute and 40 seconds (=3.37 miles per partner)
So partners will alternate laps—one running while the other recovers
*Finish early? 200’s w/100 recovery or join boot campers.
