YHC is a huge baseball fan and is having a once in a lifetime year.  His beloved Wake Forest Demon Deacons, whom he has followed since 1986, made it to the College World Series in Omaha back in June.  And his beloved Texas Rangers, whom he has followed since even earlier…1975, made it to the World Series by coming back a shellacking their divisional rivals the  evil Houston Asterisks in Game 6 and 7 of the ALCS.  In fact YHC is heading to Texas on Friday to be there in person for Game 1 of the World Series.

But first, we had The Rock Quarry that needed a theme, so we loaded up a playlist filled with Creed (for some reason the Rangers have adopted Creed as their house band through this improbable playoff run, much to @Giles’ chagrin this morning, but YHC digresses…..) and got to work this morning under the umbrella of the five core principles plus the codicil at TRQ of no running allowed.

The Thang Part 2:  The Lineup

Based on the batting order for the Texas Rangers.  Pax sauntered to each position on the field corresponding to the Ranger ballplayer.  Performed 34 total reps, 17 each of the two called exercises at each position:

3. Evan Carter – LF – Elbow Plank Jacks and Crunchy Frogs

@Giles was in high school when Creed had their moment.  He was also suprised that Creed had a full playlist of “hits”.  But he was particularly jazzed when the first few bars of “My Sacrifice” kicked in.  We also determined that all of us, even @D-Day could have been @Giles’ father.

Tclaps to @Bruin for taking @GreenAcres’ place as the WD and making sure we don’t drop the TRQ median or mean age in GA’s absence.

@Boomerang will also be in Texas but for different reasons than YHC.

@Mutton was seen running the wrong way with a flashlight by several pax who were heading to the launch spot, but he did make it back in time to get the gist of the workout.

@Argyle was on time this morning which briefly threw YHC for a loop.

@ZiggyStardust was caught singing along to every single Creed track.
