YHC took a new spin on an old concept out to Mayhem for a test drive and solicited some feedback from the PAX on how to better institute this beatdown in the future. Potentially as early as Saturday.

Mosey/walk to the shelter for the thang. Weinke pic below. Pax pic a card off the top of the deck and do the instructed exercise + reps. If pax pull a joker, it’s 2x the previous set. Pax can choose to skip their turn and shuffle the deck instead, and all pax do 10 WWIIs, increasing by 10 each shuffle of the deck.
Mosey/walk back to launch for Mary – we were out of time.
Some suggestions for format improvement – add a running card. add a burpee card. have a second set of block exercises to switch to after a shuffle. have better music. have less diamond merkins. have a 10-second count card. add another joker. most of those are real, some are fake…I’ll let you decide which is which. YHC did solicit input, so nothing was out of pocket.
Great time this morning for a beatdown that took it easy on my crankle. The cold air is a welcome change for YHC, not sure about you. Fun conversations about the history of the Lowes Foods Beer Den and pax’ trips to Vegas. Bruin is a stud. Rubber Ducky needs to start a podcast. Don’t get caught in a conversation alone with Madoff unless you want to feel like you’re on top of the freakin world…that dude rivals Drip for Most Encouraging PAX (c). Workbench and I may have both been battling the Halloween Hangovers, but his sounded more fun.
