Shoutout to @Turnover for texting me yesterday saying he was sad to miss my Mayhem Q. I had forgotten, and without the reminder may have gone to Hanes Park this morning and left the Mayhemmers Q-less. Good thing for everyone that TO has such a kind heart.
WoR: Everything x12 IC for @The Tootster. SSH, Hillibillies, Whirlies, and Michael Phelps. Pony loves the Michael Phelps.
The thang, pt. 1: Mosey to the bottom of the entrance street from Meadowlark Drive. I guess some folks would call it a driveway. There are three speedbumps on the pavement, and I had us do some partner work utilizing these distances:
- Partner A runs to the first speedbump, does 5 burpees and runs back while Partner B is doing merkins. Flapjack, hold plank for the six.
- Partner A runs to the second speedbump, does 5 burpees and runs back while Partner B is doing squats. Flapjack, hold plank for the six. (estimated squat total: 45)
- Partner A runs to the third speedbump, does 5 burpees and runs back while Partner B is doing Freddie Mercs. Flapjack, hold plank for the six. (this was a lot of Freddie Mercs).
The thang, pt. 2: Mosey to the carpool lane in front of the elementary school for Dora. 100 burpees (crowd pleaser!), 200 merkins (“what kind of a-hole Q calls for merkins after burpees?”), and 300 squats (estimated 150 per pax). Run around the whole traffic circle (appx. .15mi loop) while your partner does the exercises, and flapjack.
Mary: Mosey back to launch. All x12IC: Hammers, Muttons L & R, Low Flutter, Low Dolly. 5 squats to round out our total to 200, plus any that pax did for the six during Dora.
NMM: Awesome group of HIM. I love this AO and rue that it’s 25 min from my house, there’s a lot of wonderful opportunities for Qs to lead excellent beatdowns out there. Workbench has been the site Q for a while, may be looking at passing the torch soon – if you’re interested, give him a shout! *cough HANSEL cough cough* This was Pierogi’s second post with us, he was at Conspiracy last week. The dude gets after it! How about Boomhauer, too? FNG not too far back, posting regularly with Pony & crushing it. Get that guy on the Q calendar! Can’t say anything that hasn’t been said about the rest of the crew out there this morning. Thankful for all of you, and the continued positive impact F3 has on my life.
