Great morning with cool fall air and a fine group of HIM. YHC put out the preblast for an EC run but was secretly hoping none would show so I could catch an extra 20 min of sleep in the car…but Wobey and BAM were there waiting on me and I’m better for it.

We gathered and stretched, per the preblast, we did a Spicoli lap at 0530, per the preblast, during which Spicoli and Cherry Pie both showed up!! and then at 0532 we lit out for the Dash Stadium

(Spicoli/CP lap – 15 SSH IC, 15 Mike Tysons OYO, 15 IW IC, 15 Mike Tysons OYO)

On the way to the stadium, stop at each intersection and do LBCs for the six to keep the crew together.

At the stadium, line up at the first island and at each of the islands (5) do 10 of the called exercises. The exercises were designed to spell out three-letter monikers for the remaining teams in the AL and NL Championship Series, and we completed them in order of who I most definitely am not cheering for to the team I want to win it all. I also designed it so that the exercise sets got easier, thus swaying our opinions about each of the teams.

3. New York Yankees (NYY)

  • Nolan Ryans
  • Y – highs (made up exercise, pairing H2H and High Dolly)
  • Yurpee (Burpee w/HR merkin and 2 tuck jumps) (modified to 5 after 2 islands)

2. New York Mets (moniker LGM for “Let’s Go Mets!”)

  • Lunges
  • Gas Pumps
  • Mike Tysons

  • Carolina Dry Docks
  • Low Flutters
  • Electric Chair

Yes, objectively, the Yankees set would be harder than the Dodgers. I just really hate the Dodgers. Sorry, Greenspan and others. Lots of strong work and minimal mumble chatter – I made Lamb Chop sweat which he was worried about. Mutton and BAM had to jet early so they missed out on CoT but we made sure to count them anyway. Cherry Pie had some things to say about Yurpee form. Chick Flick has some friends who like to gamble. Spicoli is a beacon of steady leadership. Wobegon prefers hockey.

Blue Steel concluded his Q at High Life about 20 minutes ago. Chit Chat has an a capella concert coming up on Thursday night in the Reynolds auditorium. Happy Hour.5 at BrewDubs on the corner of Meadowlark & Country Club Thurs from 530-700.
